Mad about books
Stockport

Summer Programme - Family workshop for all ages from 6 - 80 years at Stockport Art Gallery and Central Library.
Bringing Stories to Life Workshops

Delight in children's stories coming to life as they are performed by Indian dancer Bisakha Sarker.
On 20th August Chaturangan took part in this story telling program. These fun filled, stimulating workshops were led by Bisakha Sarker and Fenfen Huang (supported by Varsh Rai). Chris Davies provided his own brand of magical music to accompany the dances.

Feedback
"Hi Bisakha
Thank you so much for your fantastic workshops in Stockport."
Jackie Mellor
Visual Arts Officer
Stockport Art Gallery

The second phase of this project will involve two Stockport schools. Working with the artistic team, each school will create a performance piece based on one of their favourite short-listed books. The pieces will be performed at a sharing event at Romiley Forum on Wednesday 25th November.
